Samantha & I first met in 1993, and were married
two years later in July 1995. We first set up home together in
Friday Wood Green, Colchester. We purchased a brand new two
bed roomed mid terraced property for the tidy sum on £47,500. The
same property is on the market today for over £130,000!
After we were married we moved to a larger
property - Moss Cottage in Great Bentley, Essex that was in need of a little
modernisation - it had no plumbing, heating, floorboards or
roof!
This little project took up the best part of
the next five years until our first child,
Callum, was born.

What's in a name?
Derived from the Anglo-Saxon
"smitan," to smite or strike, SMITH and its derivations
are an occupational name for a man who works with metal
(smith or blacksmith), one of the earliest jobs for
which specialist skills were required. It is a craft
that was practiced in all countries, making the surname
and its derivations the most popular of all surnames.
Family Crest
With Smith being such a popular surname
there is no single coat of arms - I just happened to
find this one.
